I got into radio late. I was a 30 year old intern and busted my ass because I left a stable, well-paying job to be there. Worth it.
Cut to several years later and I've been able to achieve many goals in broadcasting while still utilizing my digital marketing background.

JP packed up the car, wife, and cat and headed from the Chicago suburbs to Colorado Springs to host afternoons on an iconic classic rock station while also heading up the station's marketing and promotions departments.
While helping to launch this Chicagoland Classic Rock station after flipping formats from an Oldies station, JP was an integral part of the team and hosted Afternoon Drive and assisted with setting up promotional events.
As the Interactive Brand Manager for NextMedia, JP created innovative digital marketing programs both internally and externally while also filling in on-air nights & weekends for this community focused AC station.
Weekends on-air, board op, promotions, programming assistant, videographer, webmaster, lead high-fiver - you name it, JP has done it at this well-known Classic Hits station in the western Chicago suburbs.
Taking on roles of producer, social media guru, and camera operator, JP was proud to work on this legendary Chicago music show hosted by the man himself, Jerry Bryant, for the last 30 years.
JP taught college-level classes at this accredited school covering radio on-air, audio production, promotions, video production, podcasting, commercial copy writing, web design, and Photoshop.
